Summary -

One word (or three words in one) READ-A-THON!  Yay - this past weekend was the Dewey's 24-hour read-a-thon and my kids were staying with my parents and DH went hunting so it was just me at home with the laptop and my books!  I managed to finish 4 books during the read-a-thon (2 start-to-finish) and I also finished one the next day.  Lots of great reading.

Best of the week: I can't decided this week - they were all winners.

I am so disappointed about the read-a-thon. I really wanted to participate, but I didn't hear about it until late, and my schedule for work had already been made :(. I know for sure next year I WILL be off!!

It sounds like you had a blast though!

Great job on the readathon! I wasn't able to participate but it looks like everyone had a great time.

Rampant is on my wishlist. I have a ton of books I still want to review.

I'm surprised at how much I accomplished. Here's what I'm reading this week.

I am determined to finish Radiant Shadows by Melissa Marr today. It's a great book, I've just been too busy to get into it. Luckily (huh?) I'm horribly sick, so I have an excuse to stay in bed and read all day. I'm going to read The Mermaid's Mirror after I finish for review, and Raising Dragons. I hope I hear earlier about the next readathon...I want to play! :)

I noticed Hard Eight on your list. I started this series at Eleven on Top, then went to Sizzlin' Fifteen. I seriously need to start over at the beginning, but now I've started a new series by this author with her Wicked Appetite book, just out.

Hope you enjoy your reading.

I just read Rampant and really enjoyed it. I was tempted to go out and buy Ascendant right away, but stopped myself. I'm trying to buy less.. I swear.. lol. :) I loved the readathon this weekend! I got a ton of reading done because of it.

You had a great week. Glad you had fun with the read-a-thon. I did too. Mostly I spent time cheering, but did manage to read a couple of books too. Have a wonderful wek.
