Summary -

From my ratings you can see it was a good reading week for me.  I don't know if I was just in a really good mood or what.  No the truth is I read some really wonderful books this week.  Everything was pretty much a winner and something I would recommend to others.  I'm still plugging away on catching up reviews.  I only have a few more recent October books to review and then finish up my September reviews.  I am doing a better job at keeping up and I'm thrilled with that.

Wow! Great list! I thought Austenland was ok and I'm looking forward to Spinning Forward - Librarything is sending it to me for the Early Reviewers.
Have a great week!

J. Kaye - I don't keep up and my list brings tears to my eye too :) I just do my best and know that is all I can do. Some weeks I get closer and some put me more behind, but I'll get it done eventually.

That is a lot of reading... I started the latest Dean Koontz (I THINK it was called "Relentless") and just could not get into it at all. I went to the end, saw what happened and took it back to the library. And for whatever reason, the JD Robb books have never appealed to me as much as the more typical NOra Roberts (before she went all paranormal on us.) I'm on hold for Niffenegger, I think, anyway. I also ditched "Marine One," about a crash of the presidential helicopter, but did love the latest Alex Delaware by Jonathan Kellerman. Just finished a book outside my norm, but which I enjoyed, about animals in the afterlife, "Animals in Heaven? Catholics Want to Know!" It was spiritually enlivening -- and I loved the heartwarming personal stories. For those out there who are religious (and I know that's not everyone! Truth be told, I'm not nearly as religious as a lot of people I know) -- this is like a journey closer to God, who loves and cares for all he's created.
