I'm Wondering This Week (+ Giveaway)

So I skipped a week, sometimes life happens. But thanks to all who entered the giveaway 2 weeks ago.  I announced the winner on the post and emailed him, but I have not heard back.  Anyway, Carl Scott if you see this post,  you are my winner, email me at readingcrystal74**at**gmail**dot**com with your email and the bookstore of your choosing for your $5 GC. If I don't hear from Carl by 2/11 I'll draw a new winner.  Also thanks to Carl, his winning entry was a suggestion on what I would like to be a weekly feature so I'm trying it out this week.  What do you think?

Thanks for all the suggestions 2 weeks ago,  I learned new authors and will be adding books to my wishlist on Pinterest.

So onto my question and another $5 GC giveaway.

I'm thinking on sprucing up the blog, putting more time in it again and I have a very basic question for you this week.  Kind of a survey of sorts.  So my question is:

If you are a Blogger, what platform do you prefer, WordPress or Blogger?  If you are a blog reader which platform do you prefer, WordPress or Blogger?

Thanks for sticking with me and I look forward to hearing what you think!

I am just a reader and as long as Rafflecopter is used either is fine with me but otherwise I prefer blogs with Wordpress because the email address is hidden and doesn't have to be left in the comments and most of the bloggers can still see them.

Thanks so much!

That is something I didn't realize about the difference between them, even after all these years of reading blogs. So thanks, that is great to know Texas Book Lover.

Just a reader here. I'm a mobile user only. I had an android for two years and was unable to post comments on half of the blogs using blogger. On Wordpress, I never had that problem. I have an iPhone now and have no problems now commenting on any blog. But I still prefer Wordpress myself.

I prefer blogger because it is easier foe me to navigate as a blogger. Wordpress does look more polished though.

I prefer blogger. I use both, or at least used to use both, but now stay with just blogger. I have seen lots of bloggers leave for WP and find myself wondering why. In 4+ years of blogging I have yet to have an issue with blogger.

PS I sent a tweet to Carl and let him know. He must have missed it.

I don't have a problem with either as a blog reader.

I prefer blogger, because I think it's easier for me to follow via GFC, but Wordpress doesn't bother me. As long as I can read the blog and comment, I'm good.

I blogger better because it's the only one I have used for a long period of time.

I'm fine with either one.

I blog on Wordpress though I do have an account on Blogger. I am still trying to decide if I like Wordpress enough to stay with it.
I love the checking out blogs on Wordpress, because of the like button. It is a way of commenting when you don't have time to comment.

Blogger. I don't have a Wordpres account, though I do like it.

Blogger. Used to use Blogspot but recently changed to Wordpress. Starting up, Blogspot is loads easier but Wordpress gives you more control. Or it's supposed to be like that anyway.

I'm not a blogger, so either is fine with me. Thanks for the gift card and for choosing my idea, I'm flattered.

I'm just a reader and either format is fine for me. I just enjoying seeing the reviews and the contests.

As a reader it doesn't matter but when updating my author site I find Wordpress better and easy to use once you've gone through the learning curve.
