Here is this week's Booking Through Thursday question:
What’s the most informative book you’ve read recently?
Cleopatra's Daughter by Michelle Moran. I haven't really read any informative non-fiction, so the first fiction book I thought of was this one. I actually learned a lot about life in Rome back in the first century BC and also about some of the historical people of the time. It left me wanting to learn more about Rome and Greece and Egypt.

I am currently reading Bending Towards the Sun a book about a mother and daughter relationship. I find it the most informative because it looks into how Holocaust survivers will often unknowingly pass certain characteristics (like over attachment to parents) on to thier children. I find this to be very interesting. Not to mention the books is very well written.
I so agree with you!
I have used Cleopatra's Daughter for my informative read as well.
Here is my Booking Through Thursday post.
Thank you Crystal and Ibeeg!
And MommaHunt - Bending Towards the Sun sounds fascinating.
When I read the question my mind went directly to non-fiction and forget all about fiction :(
I would put Michael Chricton as informative
Moran novels do have a lot of information about history. I put fiction too.
