Other notes for today - It's Friday and I'm tired.  I did go to Buffalo Wild Wings with my hubby for lunch and that was good (ours just opened).  We had fun playing the trivia game and DH even won.  Plans to go workout after work and then do some reading when I get home and then a few episodes of Lost with the family.

What I'm Reading on Tuesday

Kindle: Dangerous by Diana Palmer (for review as well)
I haven't gotten any further with this one at this time, I need to read it next though.  I put up the giveaway for one copy of the hardcover today, so check that out.

Audio in the Car:  Don't Look Twice by Andrew Gross
Listed a little today over the weekend, I'm traveling with  my husband today so no listening.  Still on Disc 4 and will get back to listening on Thursday when we return home.

Library Book: Burned by P.C. and Kristen Cast
I just started this, I love the House of Night novels and look forward to this latest installment.

Review Book: My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares
I'm about 100 pages into this - I hope to review it on Friday.  So far it is very intriguing and has gripped me from the beginning.

Finished (on Monday):

The Ark by Boyd Morrison
Loved this - it was hard to put down.  Review coming with the tour on tomorrow - but just know this is an fascinating and very suspense-filled book.

The Ark: A Novel

Other notes for today - Feeling better today - had a rough Sunday and Monday.  I'm traveling with my husband today and he had Lasik surgery this afternoon.  He's currently in some pain, but able to rest.  He could already see some things after we left the doctor's office, granted they were blurry but he was able to make them out better than he ever had without his glasses before.  He's had glasses since third grade and has wanted to do this for years - I'm thrilled he finally was able to get this done and hope his recovery goes well.  He should be able to see decent tomorrow.  I can't wait for that!

I haven't been in the car since Friday night but I'm in the middle of Disc 4 and still enjoying it, a few things were a little predictable, but the overall story is very intriguing and has me on the edge of my seat.

Review Book:  The Ark by Boyd Morrison
I'm about 100 pages into this - it's for a tour on Wednesday.  It definitely has grabbed me from the beginning.  I read about 100 pages of it this evening without putting it down.

Finished:

Never Let You Go by Erin Healy
Great book - I wanted to finish it last night but couldn't keep my eyes open, so I finished it first thing this morning.  Really enjoyed it, will post the review this week.

Welcome to Harmony by Jodi Thomas
I started this one this morning and finished it this afternoon.  I seem to have a stomach bug that has kept me from doing much today and I must admit I have enjoyed spending the day with the inhabitants of Harmony, Texas.  Review and Guest post with the author will be coming later this week.  I also will have one copy to giveaway as well.

Other notes for today - I've not been feeling well, plus my boys have been at one of their sets' of grandparents all day and this evening for a cookout, so it's been pretty much me alone all day which has allowed for a lot of reading time (and preparing posts for my blog this coming week).  I have really enjoyed reading Welcome to Harmony.  It has been awhile since I've read this type of fiction, tale of a small-town with some romance and getting to know a lot of characters.  I've missed it and it was great to get  back to it.

What I'm Reading on Thursday

Kindle: Infinity (Chronicles of Nick #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
I should be finishing this up this evening.  This one was a lot of fun to read and could be just the book to help me reclaim my reading mojo.  Ahh - it reminds me of reading my first Dark Hunter book when I first met Nick, and this book and the series that will follow will help the reader understand Nick better until he gets his official Dark Hunter book.  Now I think we have to wait until February 2011 for the next one - the horrors!  Oh well - time for me to catch back up on the  Dark Hunter books.

Audio in the Car:  Don't Look Twice by Andrew Gross
I started the 3rd Disc today and this is moving right along, very enjoyable, like the reader and the character of Ty a lot.

Review Book:  Never Let You Go by Erin Healy
Soon as I finish Infinity I'll be back to this and I can't wait.

Other notes for today - we watched 4 episodes of Lost last night, I think that puts us midway through season 2.  My husband is so addicted that he had supper almost ready when we walked in the door at 6pm and we watched until 9:15.  I have imposed a new limit of cutoff time for older son to get a good night sleep and allow for me some time to read and unwind before going to sleep. I think it's a good thing as I slept well last night and actually woke up before the alarm this morning.

What I'm Reading on Wednesday

I don't know how often I'll keep this up, but I thought I might to quick posts of what I am reading each day and some quick thoughts - this might help me with my reviews and it gets some of the review books or other books some more exposure. So here's my first installment.

What I'm Reading on Wednesday:

Kindle: Infinity (Chronicles of Nick #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
It's no secret that I have read the Dark Hunter novels since almost the beginning and I am actually behind now.  The behemoth that is Acheron has waylaid me, but I recently got it on audio and plan on catching back up.  But let something come out about Nick and I am so there - I have loved Nick since his first appearance and I am about halfway through this one and it is not disappointing.  (I also pre-ordered this one two weeks ago and have been counting down the days it would be delivered to my Kindle - I started this yesterday afternoon)

Audio in the Car:  Don't Look Twice by Andrew Gross
Somehow I got behind on this series and didn't realize it until Reckless came out.  I always enjoyed his books with James Patterson so I jumped at the chance to read his own series.  Loved The blue Zone and The Dark Tide and it was time to catch back up with Ty Hauck, though I really can't remember much about the first book.  I borrowed this from the library and the reader is engaging.  I'm on the second disc and getting into it now.  I just wish the language wasn't as bad in some parts.

Review Book:  Never Let You Go by Erin Healy
I started this yesterday as well as an effort to get back to my review books and I've read about 4 chapters and I'm engrossed.  I plan on reading more of this tonight.  This is my first exposure to Erin Healy - I have wanted to read her partnered books with Ted Dekker, but haven't yet.  If the rest of the book lives up to the first few chapters, I'm sure I will be going back and reading those.
