The Sunday Salon - August 16, 2009

The Sunday Salon which is hosted here, go and visit and see other participants.

Time spent reading - This week was better from the start. DH and I decided to just hang around the house and relax on Sunday so I spent a fair amount of time reading, in fact I finished 3 books - 1 I was almost finished with, 1 I was halfway through and 1 I started and read in one sitting. I finished another one through the week and worked on several others in addition to some magazine reading.

What I read:

  • I Can See You by Karen Rose - This was great
  • Seven Up by Janet Evanovich - More Stephanie, more Ranger, more Joe and of course more Grandma!
  • Dancing with Ana by Nicole Barker - This one I read in one sitting, it's young adult and it is amazing.
  • The Weight of Silence by Heather Gudenkauf - This one was really good - suspenseful
Thoughts on my reading:

  • New-to-me authors: Nicole Barker, Heather Gudenkauf - both are definite winners
  • Number of review books read this week: 3
  • Number of library books read this week: 1

What I'm reading now:

Reunion in Death by J.D. Robb (on audio in my car)
Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict by Laura Viera Rigler
Pre: The Story of America's Greatest Running Legend, Steve Prefontaine by Tom Jordan

Up Next:

Club Dead (Sookie Stackhouse challenge)
I'm not sure - I have to check my review stacks!

Everyone have a great week!

Three books! That is awesome. I am working on I Can See You right now. It is awesome. I took a break from reading yesterday to hit the Grand Canyon. Today I have some chores but then it is off to an adventure in the mind. :)

Wow, three books! I am also reading three - one that I don't like, but don't wanna leave it unfinished, one I like, but is an audiotape which I'm not very fond of, and one I have to read for school, which is on PDF, so I have to read it on my computer. Not fun at all!
